2015 Reflection

The 2015 start of Wicked Striper’s Guide Service was filled with good fish and disappointment.  Record rainfall in May and June flooded most of Oklahoma causing marina’s, ramps, and lakes to shut down for several months.  This ceased most fishing and summer lake activities for most folks across the state for most of the summer.  Although we got on some of our best fish to date, our time was limited due to the flooding and an unfortunate incident that took out my motor in August.  Thankfully I had insurance and although it did not go as smoothly as I hoped for to get me back on the water, after three months of being in the shop, it’s ready to get back to rippin-lips.  With  the expansion’s taking place on Keystone Lake and the city of Mannford, I’m excited to what the future holds for this beautiful lake.  The striper population is abundant and what I call Oklahoma’s best kept secret.  I’m looking forward to taking my clients back out on the water this coming year and meeting new clients as well.  Wicked Striper’s is back bigger than ever and wishing all of you a blessed new year and tight lines!
